The day that you can fully accept that you have no control over the actions of others is the day that you will be freed from your anger.

  1. Geez, no kidding. When will that day come? I always tell myself I need to stop trying to fix people and/or figure them out because I'm just going to end up destroying my brain. Sigh... one day...

  2. It is an attitude that takes active conditioning to work up to, and it takes energy to maintain after the fact, but the feeling is so liberating. If you want it badly enough and are introspective enough to question your own philosophies and motivations (which you clearly are), the day will come.

Unfortunately, exactly when that day will come is something that only you and your circumstances can determine.

I hope that you are having a wonderful day.

  3. I dunno. I still get angry over the fact that I can't control their actions, that I can't make them see just how stupid they are and how their actions destroy lives...

Knowing that I have no control over their actions just frustrates and angers me further.
