Nine days ago, I graduated from college.

Five days ago, my grandfather passed away.

Yesterday, I was informed that a dear friend of mine was killed in a car accident in India last week, along with eight other members of her family.

I would love to offer some sort of introspection here.

To expound upon my feelings.

Provide some sort of valuable insight.

I would love to offer something more.

But there is nothing to say.

  2. Agreed, there is nothing anyone could say.
    Thinking of you x

And if you ever want to talk...

  3. I am very sorry to hear about your losses, Hayden. No words will change what happened, so all I can say is that I'll be thinking about you and hoping that you are able to make your peace with those who have passed away.

And for what it's worth, congratulations on your degree. I meant to tell you this earlier, and it may not be the best time now, but I can tell from your posts and statuses that you worked very hard for it. You deserve some recognition. After all of this is over, I hope you can take some time this Christmas season to be with family and do what makes you happy.

I lost one of my grandfathers a few years ago, about a month after I started college. The other passed away last year. It's never easy to cope, but time will take away the worst of the pain. If you would like to chat you know where to reach me.

    Best wishes,

  4. Hayden dear, I know there is really nothing that can be said to make you feel better but just now that I'm here and going through something similar.

  5. Hi Hayden. There isn't much I can add to what everyone else has already said, but I believe you are being strong and sincere from what I am reading. I know you'll get through this. And to echo everyone else, I am also here if you want to talk/vent/or talk about food I have never heard before. :)
